The pilot of my TV show concept, Lilypad Library is out now! In the town of Singalong Swamp, librarian and musician Ms. Kiersten runs the Lilypad Library. Lilypad Library is a fun place where all of the townsfolk can gather, grow, and learn. Specifically, the show follows Dots the Frog and Lotsa the Axolotl in their summer before Kindergarten. The show introduces topics of Kindergarten readiness such as sharing, independence (dressing oneself, packing a backpack), listening skills, storytelling, and more. It also follows the characters on a number of silly and imaginative stories. Hop on down to the Singalong Swamp to hang out with Lotsa, Dots, and Ms. Dottie by watching the pilot here on YouTube!

It’s so nice to meet you! My name is Ms. Kiersten, a frog-overall wearing, mushroom-hat donning singer who began performing at Nazareth University in Rochester, NY. I now have variety of performances in the Greater-Boston area, including at the studio of children’s author Peter H. Reynolds. On the spectrum myself, I set out to create a show that helps young children make the transition from preschool to Kindergarten, particularly from a neurodivergent lens. Ms. Kiersten often expresses that both she and Lilypad Library are not perfect, but that they are always trying to learn, grow, and be their best selves. Although a form of Ms. Kiersten and the world of Lilypad Library did not exist for young Kiersten, she is now there for the next generations of both neurodivergent and neurotypical kids.
